Challenges: Legal framework for adult education is needed

The adult education sector was significantly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. All of the adult education providers needed to transition to digital learning, which was not possible for some of the providers. The impacts of COVID on the work of the organisation are still to manifest in the upcoming months. One of the major challenges to adult education in Ukraine is the lack of a legal framework. A legal foundation would not only enhance funding opportunities but also promote the recognition of adult learning in Ukraine, specifically in regard to non-formal and informal learning.

Developments: Progress on digitalisation
