Developments in adult education 2022

According to the EAEA’s member, the Adult Education Centre, the situation of adult learning and education (ALE) in North Macedonia has stayed the same in comparison to last year.

Financing of adult education

The funding situation of adult education in North Macedonia has stayed the same since last year. ALE is mainly financed through project funding, programme funding, operating grants and fees paid by individuals.

Sustainability

The Adult Education Centre has a strategy to promote sustainability in their work procedures. Moreover, the organisation is currently working on a strategy to promote sustainability in their learning programme.

There are plans to develop a strategy for the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals in the whole ALE sector in North-Macedonia.
