Challenges: More adult education centres for Georgia
Many of the activities were transferred to online platforms and some of the centres were able to continue providing education, adapting to the government measures.
In 2021 the focus of the GAEN will be to popularise and promote the recognition of non-formal adult education. They also want to focus on the institutional development of GAEN member centres across Georgia, which could make adult learning more accessible on the local level. GAEN would like the Georgian government to adopt a law on adult education to enable adult education providers to issue state recognised certificates for learning.
